Secure IT Service Management, Inc. (SecureITSM), a subsidiary of Paragone Solutions, Inc., is seeking a Senior Sales Account Executive to follow up on leads and close sales in the Managed IT and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) marketplace.

Role Overview
The Senior Sales Account Executive owns the full sales cycle from lead follow-up through close for SecureITSM’s Managed IT and CMMC-related services. This role engages decision-makers in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), conducts discovery, aligns solutions to compliance and operational risks, and consistently advances opportunities through a structured pipeline.
A meaningful portion of the day (approximately 20–30 percent) will be dedicated to outbound calling and follow-up outreach to convert marketing-generated leads into qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
SecureITSM, a subsidiary of Paragone Solutions, Inc. is an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting DoD contractors who must comply with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively follow up on leads and qualify opportunities.
- Conduct structured discovery to validate fit, urgency, budget, authority, and timeline.
- Convert marketing and telemarketing activity into qualified meetings and sales opportunities.
- Rapidly engage inbound and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Execute targeted outbound calls to leads generated through telemarketing, SEO, campaigns, referrals and events.
- Maintain a consistent outreach cadence and accurately track activities in the CRM.
- Lead discovery calls, solution alignment calls, demos, and proposal reviews through close.
- Build account plans and multi-thread relationships with executives, IT leaders, compliance leads, and contracts/procurement stakeholders.
- Create and present value-based proposals tied to compliance timelines, risk reduction, audit readiness, and operational outcomes.
- Negotiate pricing and terms within approved guardrails; coordinate approvals when needed.
- Confidently explain SecureITSM’s differentiation, including proprietary audit tooling, repeatable documentation, and cost advantage.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, including notes, next steps, close dates, and forecast stages.
- Partner with marketing to refine lead quality, messaging, and campaign targeting.
- Coordinate with technical teams for scoping, solution design, and delivery alignment.
- Provide voice-of-customer feedback to refine packaging, pricing, and competitive positioning.
- Execute full-cycle sales activities from lead engagement through close.
- Collaborate effectively with internal team members to support deal strategy.
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience, including full cycle closing responsibility.
- Proven track record of quota attainment in services-based selling (Managed IT, cybersecurity, compliance, SaaS, or professional services).
- Demonstrated comfort with consistent outbound calling and follow-up as a routine part of the workday.
- Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, including ability to quantify pain, map stakeholders, and build business cases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and negotiation.
- High discipline in CRM usage, pipeline management, and activity tracking.
- Experience selling managed services, security programs, or audit-prep/advisory offerings.
- Understanding of MSP delivery models and how to scope recurring services and onboarding projects.
- Phone-first follow-up and persistence without being transactional.
- Consultative, value-based selling with structure and urgency.
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and communicate them clearly.
- Ownership mindset, high activity levels, and strong time management.
- Professional skepticism and qualification rigor to protect delivery capacity and margins.
