Paragone Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer (FSE) to support mission-critical programs. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining secure information systems in classified environments while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and organizational security policies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with experience deploying and supporting secure systems across multiple security domains and working within Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
This position requires an active TS/SCI with Poly (or eligible Poly) Clearance.
This role is onsite Monday - Friday in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Due to contract requirements, no hybrid or remote work is authorized.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, implement, test, troubleshoot, and maintain secure information systems in classified environments.
- Support physical and virtual servers, workstations, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), and other enterprise technologies.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and interoperability issues.
- Configure and maintain networked and standalone computing systems.
- Maintain system security baselines in accordance with organizational policies and system authorizations.
- Implement and enforce local network security policies and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct functional, connectivity, and operational testing to ensure system availability.
- Develop and maintain installation documentation, system architecture, configuration management records, and operational procedures.
- Work with Assessment & Authorization (A&A) teams to develop and maintain RMF documentation supporting system accreditation.
- Provide Tier II support for deployed Cross Domain Solution technologies.
- Deliver onsite user training during system deployments, as required.
- Travel to customer locations (50% or greater) to support installations, upgrades, and sustainment activities.
- Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI and CI Polygraph (eligibility)
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity or related information systems experience
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III Certification (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISSP, GCED, GCIH or CCSP)
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting secure information systems within DoD or other government environments
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and enterprise networking environments
- Experience supporting systems operating at multiple classification levels (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security authorization processes
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and system configuration records
- Ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel 50%
